Dangote Cement Plc has announced an impressive financial result for the first quarter of 2025, reporting over ₦1 trillion in revenue and an 86% increase in profit after tax compared to Q1 2024.
The record-breaking performance was driven by strong local sales, regional exports, and strategic pricing across its 10 African markets. Cement demand remained high due to infrastructure growth and new construction projects in Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon.
Aliko Dangote, Group President & CEO, attributed the success to operational excellence, cost-efficiency, and a resilient regional expansion strategy that continues to yield sustainable returns.
“We are committed to building Africa from within, and these results reflect our strength as a truly Pan-African industrial leader,” — Aliko Dangote
The company has also announced plans to open new cement plants by Q4 2025, with thousands of jobs to be created across Africa.
